Jameson Rodgers was born and raised in Batesville, Mississippi. From a young age, he had his sights set on both music and baseball. Rodgers passions lead him to a baseball scholarship at Northwest Mississippi Community College where he played ball for two years. After transferring to the University of Southern Mississippi he started writing songs with his roommates and performing them live in their newly formed college band. Shortly after graduation he moved to Nashville and began honing his songwriting skills by co-writing and playing writers rounds as often as possible. His dedication finally paid off when he landed a publishing deal with Combustion/Atlas Music in 2014. Fast forward a few short years and Jameson saw his first cut “Wish You Were On It” on Florida Georgia Line’s “Dig Your Roots” album. 2016 also saw the release of his independent debut EP. He toured in support of his EP opening shows for Sam Hunt, Eli Young Band, and Old Dominion along with playing sold out club shows of his own. The first single, Midnight Day Dream, has amassed over 1 million streams on Spotify and Apple music to date. Jameson is currently in the studio working on new music for 2017.
